DRZ400 Gets Fuel Injection
2025 Suzuki DR-Z4S and DR-4ZSM
Suzuki unveils the new DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM: the new generation of the DR-Z400 dual sport and its derived supermoto version. For 2025, they features Euro 5+ certification and will once again be available in Europe , but many other updates have been introduced.
The steel frame is entirely new , featuring a twin-beam upper structure, along with KYB suspension adjustable for both rebound and compression.
On the electronics side, there is now ride-by-wire with three engine maps, adjustable traction control, and ABS, which can be deactivated on the rear wheel for the SM and on both wheels for the S.
The other differences between the two models naturally involve the wheels – 21” and 18” on the dual sport, both 17” on the supermoto – and the front brake disc, which is floating and larger in the case of the SM.
Both models share the same engine : a single-cylinder with dual overhead camshafts, dual ignition, and a five-speed transmission with a slipper clutch, delivering 38 HP at 8,000 rpm and 37 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The curb weight is 151 kg for the S and 154 kg for the SM.
